Faculty of Social Work Holds the 7th Career Forum

Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Gaber Shedid, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Mohamed Abu Al-Ghar, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, witnessed the activities of the seventh career forum of Faculty of Social Work, in presence of Prof. Zainab El-Bahy, Dean of Faculty of Social Work, and Prof. Mahmoud Irfan, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Waleed Shemy, Vice Dean of Faculty of Dar Al Uloom for Community Service and Environmental Development and Director of the Alumni Follow-up Center at the university, Dr. Safaa Aziz, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit at the college, and Mr. Ashraf Ibrahim Hafez, Regional Director of National Bank branches For the North Upper Egypt region, the university president’s advisors and the owners of the labor market institutions, on Wednesday, 2/6/2021.
At the beginning of his speech, Prof. Mohamed Abu Al-Ghar stressed that Faculty of Social Work is closely related to all community institutions, including kindergartens, schools and hospitals, as it is considered the closest college to the community that contributes to solving its problems, adding that the Alumni Follow-up Center at Fayoum University plays its hopeful role in responding to the community’s need and conveys the vision of the labor market and the skills required of the graduate to be transferred to the university faculties to be integrated into the academic curricula, indicating that the graduate should strive to develop his skills so that he can find the right job.
Prof. Zainab El-Bahy welcomed the faculty’s guests from inside and outside the university, praising the university’s efforts in general and the Faculty of Social Work in particular to take care of its students, whether during study or after graduation, in order to complete its mission not only in education but also in caring for its graduates and trying to find job opportunities for them after graduation.
