Golden Flute Competition in the Holy Qur’an Recitation

Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Farouk, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Scientific and Technological Activity organized under the auspices of the youth welfare administration the Golden Flute Competition in the Holy Quran Recitation for male and female students at the level of University colleges.
In presence of Prof. Wael Tobar, general coordinator of student activities at the university, members of the jury, Dr. El-Sayed Ahmed Gomaa, instructor in the Department of Islamic Law at Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, and Dr. Ehab Khaled Saad, assistant instructor in the Department of Rhetoric at Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, and the students participating in the competition, Today, Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in the Conference Room of the Central Library.
Prof. Mohamed Farouk explained that the competition aims to develop students' skills in reciting the Holy Qur'an, urging them to take care of their talents and developing them, and adding distinguished readers to the ancient Egyptian Qur'anic Recitation School.
He added that the competition includes the student's control of the sound's capabilities, its space and its layers, standing and starting; In terms of health and goodness, homogeneity of reading, and smooth movement between shrines, it also allows the student to read from the Noble Qur’an.
He also indicated that the activities of the competition extend over three days. The interviews will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, while the final list of contestants will be selected next Sunday, and the results of the competition will be announced in a grand celebration next Tuesday in the Grand Celebration Hall.
