| On Sunday, 12 May 2024, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdallah Hamzawy, Dean of the Faculty, chaired the first meeting of the Quality Assurance Unit Board.

| The meeting was attended by Dr. Shaimaa Abdel Gawad, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit;
|
| Board members: Asst. Prof. Dr. Doaa Hilal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research;
|
| Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development;
|
| representatives from faculty and teaching assistants; administrative staff members;
|
| and Dr. Rabie El-Soudani, Head of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Fayoum, as a community representative.
|
| Prof. Dr. Hamzawy welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of holding these regular meetings to follow up on enhancing the quality of education. He affirmed the Faculty’s commitment to establishing a quality-based system aimed at achieving sustainable development goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030 in line with the strategic plan of Fayoum University.

| Dr. Shaimaa Abdel Gawad began her speech by presenting the meeting agenda, which included the annual quality plan for the academic year 2023/2024 and the proposed financial regulations for the Quality Unit, in preparation for the Faculty’s accreditation.
|
| The meeting reviewed the Unit’s achievements and activities from 19 November 2023 to date.
|
| At the session’s end, the board approved the Unit’s annual plan for submission to the Faculty Council for approval and formed a subcommittee from the board to review the proposed financial regulations.
|
| Prof. Dr. Hamzawy concluded the meeting, wishing success to all involved.
