Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamzawy – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy,

and supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Marwa Tolba – Director of the Compulsory Training Program (Internship) Unit,
|
Asst. Prof. Dr. Marwa Tolba organized four field visits for internship pharmacists of the “Pharm D – Clinical Pharmacy” program to the Surgery Hospital and Mostafa Hassan Children's Hospital, as part of monitoring the internship training plan for interns from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Fayoum University.

The activities began with a visit to the Surgery Hospital to monitor students’ training that started on October 7 within the “Hospital Pharmacies” course, which is an essential part of the compulsory courses aimed at enhancing students' practical skills in various hospital pharmacies, including:

• Emergency Pharmacy
|
• Operating Room Pharmacy
|
• Main Drug Store
|
• Operating Supplies Store
|
• Inpatient Pharmacy
|
The second group of internship pharmacists was monitored in the “Adult General Medicine” course, also a compulsory course, which included training in the following departments of the Surgery Hospital:

• Cardiology Department
|
• Urology Department
|
Additionally, the third group (Surgery course), which is an elective course for interns, was followed up in the General Surgery Department.

The visits concluded with the fourth group at Mostafa Hassan Children's Hospital, where training took place in the following pharmacies:

• Intensive Care Pharmacy
|
• Inpatient Pharmacy
|
These visits confirmed the interns' commitment and eagerness to acquire the necessary knowledge and practical experience, greatly qualifying them for success in the pharmaceutical job market after graduation and demonstrating their readiness to apply what they learned during their studies in their future professional lives to serve the healthcare community.
