| Dr. Khaled Ismail Hamza, President of the University and Prof. Mona Hata, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, witnessed the third meeting of the Egyptian Network for Cancer Research in Alexandria in cooperation with the Science and Technological Development Fund. The meeting discussed a number of axes and objectives, including the strategy of scientific research and how to contribute to achieving the goals of Egypt Strategy for Science and Technology 2020-2030 and challenges and obstacles to cooperation between the various organizations. The meeting also highlighted the Alexandria Governorate Initiative for the prevention of non-communicable diseases, To prioritize cancer research in Egypt and address it in several aspects (clinical, academic, public health, health) with a study to determine the requirements of researchers and their needs in order to improve the level of scientific research. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Khaled Hamza signed a protocol of cooperation between Fayoum University and the Egyptian Network for Cancer Research to be the University of Fayoum within 20 universities connected to the Egyptian Cancer Research Network by activating the working mechanisms of the network items and achieving its objectives. |
