Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Farouk El Khabeery, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the university’s electronic coordination laboratories started to receive students of the first stage to register their desires to enroll in Egyptian universities on Saturday 5/8/2023.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata explained that according to the schedule announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and for the second day in a row, the laboratories receive first-stage students, starting from Saturday 5/8/2023 until Wednesday 9/8/2023, stressing Fayoum University’s keenness to provide all conveniences for students and parents to facilitate registration work, as waiting rooms attached to the laboratories are equipped for students and parents to prevent overcrowding inside the laboratories, and technical support teams are present in the laboratories at the highest level of efficiency, whether from faculty members, education specialists, students and technicians to provide the necessary technical support, as well as answering students' inquiries, stressing that these services are completely free.

Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery indicated that Fayoum University has prepared 5 computer laboratories, with a total of 113 computers in the faculties of agriculture, engineering, science, tourism & hotels, computers & artificial intelligence, and operates from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon daily.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the minimum for the first stage to accept students from high school stage. Where it was decided that the minimum for the scientific division should be 362 degrees or more with a percentage of 88.29% or more, the minimum for the engineering division would be 342 degrees or more with a percentage of 83.41% or more, and the literary division would be 289.5 degrees or more with a percentage of 70.61% or more.
