Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, received university Affiliates who received Erasmus Plus scholarships, in the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Basset, Director of the Office of International Relations, on Tuesday, /298/2023.

These scholarships come within the framework of the partnership between Fayoum University and the Italian Sapienza University of Rome, and that five faculty members from the university’s faculties of arts, tourism and hotels, specific education, and engineering have received Erasmus Plus academic mobility program grants. The scholarships are fully funded by the European Union at no cost to Fayoum University.

The university organized an educational program for the scholarship recipients to introduce Italian culture and the life of international students in Italy, explain how to benefit from the scholarship, and the importance of attending Italian language courses and courses that serve their specializations, as well as participating in the international activities of the Erasmus program at Sapienza University of Rome, and also introducing them to some sentences and terms in the Italian language.
