Fayoum University Hosts a Delegation of Egypt's Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the “Yes to Participation... Stay Positive” symposium, which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector under the supervision of Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Arafa Sabry, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The symposium hosted each of Dr. Ghada Ali, member of the House of Representatives for Egypt's Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians, Mrs. Amira El-Adly, member of the House of Representatives for Egypt's Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians, Mr. Ahmed Moqled, member of the House of Representatives for Egypt's Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians, and Dr. Asmaa Al-Harsh, member of Egypt's Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians, and Mr. Ahmed Taha, member of Egypt's Coordination's Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians.
In the presence of a number of faculty members, staff and students, today, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, in the Grand Conference Hall.
Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata stated that the aim of organizing the symposium is to work on educating the youth about the importance of participating in the upcoming presidential elections, and sending an honorable image of Egypt to the outside world about the awareness of Egyptian youth about their various orientations.
Explaining that the formation of political awareness begins at the university stage, stressing the pivotal role of youth in building the nation.
He praised the efforts made by members of the Youth Coordination of Parties and politicians in creating broad discussion spaces and communication channels between different political currents, which creates a state of diversity and intellectual and cognitive richness for young people.
For his part, Prof. Assem El-Essawy indicated that the university is keen to develop the minds of its youth, enrich their awareness, expand their awareness, and give them the ability to make decisions and work collectively, so that they will be effective leaders in society in the future.
He directed the students to be keen to participate in the upcoming presidential elections and choose who represents them.
For her part, Dr. Ghada Ali praised the awareness of university youth towards current societal issues, despite the various intellectual, cultural and ideological wars they are exposed to.
He explained that the Parties Youth Coordination is a national youth bloc that includes young people from different political orientations, and they practice politics with a new and different concept that unites and does not divide.
He directed the students to participate in civil society institutions and civil society organizations, and to ensure that they obtain training certificates in various fields, and called on them to exercise their constitutional rights and cast their votes during the upcoming elections.
Representative Amira Al-Adly confirmed that the Youth Coordination of Parties and Politicians is constantly working to communicate with young people and learn about their ideas, issues and problems, and is always keen to organize extensive discussion circles on various issues.
She pointed out that the Egyptian state is paying great attention to empowering young people in the current period, and is appointing many of them to various leadership positions.
Representative Ahmed Moqled spoke about the role of youth, as they are the main driver of the wheel of development and construction in the coming period.
He explained that there has been great interest in youth, and the state has worked to provide many channels of communication with them, build them, and better prepare them for the future.
He called on young people to interact with the current events taking place in Egypt, and to play a positive role in the upcoming presidential elections.
He explained that Egypt is truly concerned with Arab issues, and made prominent contributions to introducing humanitarian aid and reaching a truce agreement in Gaza recently, stressing that Egypt is a sovereign state that cannot be touched by anyone.
The representatives of Parliament from the Parties Youth Coordination listened to the questions raised and responded to them.
At the end of the symposium, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata presented the university’s shield to the guests, in appreciation of their efforts and contributions.
