Fayoum University Hosts Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Moez

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the activities of the “Whisper of Hope” symposium, which was organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare in cooperation with the General Administration of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and Students for Egypt Family, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeeri, Vice President of the University for Students and Educational Affairs, Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Assem Fouad Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Fattah, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, General Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family, and Mr. Tarek El Gendy, Managing Editor of DMC Satellite Channel, today, Thursday, 30/11/2023, in the Grand Celebration Hall.
At the beginning of his speech, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata welcomed Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Moez to Fayoum University, stressing the great role played by him in spreading awareness, preaching and guidance to our university students.
He also expressed his hope that the symposium would achieve its goals, directing the students to make the most of the symposium, which calls for optimism and hope in various aspects of life.
Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeeri confirmed that the Education and Student Affairs Sector is always keen to support students with all capabilities, by holding educational seminars in all fields.
He pointed out that our Islamic religion always calls on us to continue striving for successes and achievements in our scientific and practical lives, so that we can reach our goals and realize our hopes and dreams.
Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Moez emphasized that a believer does not live without hope, guided by some Quran verses and multiple prophetic hadiths.
He also explained that faith in Allah directly calls for optimism and non-surrender in all aspects of life, by relying on Allah in all our actions, and he appealed to the students to completely stay away from pessimism and bad friends who spread negative energy and despair in everyone around them.
He also provided a number of advice to students, summarizing the necessity of linking optimism to Allah, Glory be to Him, citing many stories of the prophets and companions that call for the hope and optimism that we derive from Allah, who is able to solve all our problems. Therefore, we must arm ourselves with the strength of faith and patience in the face of the trials that threaten us that are divine tests for humans.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the discussion was opened, and some students directed questions and inquiries to Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Moez.
At the closing of the symposium, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata honored Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Moez and presented him the Fayoum University shield.
