Launching the Activities of the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, opened the activities of the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition at the level of the university’s colleges, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeeri, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and organized by the department of social activities and student families in the general administration of youth welfare.
In the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Assem Fouad Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, some deans and vice deans of colleges, and Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities and Chairman of Judging Committee of the Competition, faculty members, and members of the competition’s jury, today, Wednesday, 12/6/2023, in the Grand Celebration Hall.
At the beginning of his speech, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata pointed out that the competition aims to discover distinguished students who represent a scientific, cultural and societal vanguard and an ideal model for university students, as well as developing cultural awareness, consolidating bonds of friendship, and enriching the spirit of competition, loyalty and belonging among students, in addition to exchanging experiences and skills. Among them, which qualifies the winning students in the competition to represent Fayoum University with other Egyptian universities in the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition at the level of Egyptian universities, which is organized by Fayoum University every year. He also praised the effort made by those in charge of organizing that competition.
Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeeri also confirmed that the Education and Student Affairs Sector is keen to organize a competition for ideal male and female students at the level of Egyptian universities every year on a regular basis.
He stated that 39 male and female students from various university colleges are participating in the competition, and that the judging committee, is headed by Prof. Wael Tubar, consists of 11 faculty members.
He explained that the title of ideal student is not only given to a student who excels academically, but rather he is selected according to a number of criteria and specifications that qualify him to win the title of ideal student at Fayoum University.
It is noteworthy that the competition’s jury consists of Prof. Abdel Kareem Abdel Latif for the written test competition, Prof. Emad Abdel Salam, and Prof. Dr. Walid Khalil, members of the jury for the personal traits, general appearance, presentation, and dialogue management competition, and Prof. Nahla Abdel Rahman, a member the judging committee for the Human Development and Contributions to Community Work Competition, Prof. Abeer Bayad and Prof. Abdullah Youssef, members of the judging committee for the Student Activities Competition at the (college, university, and international) levels, and Prof. Moustafa Rady, member of the judging committee for the General Culture Competition. Prof. Nabila Marzouk, member of the judging committee in the English Language Competition, Prof. Adel Attia, member of the judging committee in the Arabic Language Competition, Dr. Ahmed Salama, member of the judging committee in the Computer Skills Competition, and Dr. Doaa Al-Sayed, member of the judging committee in the Scientific Excellence and grades of previous academic years.
