Prof. Hatata Inaugurates a Number of Educational and Developmental Projects at the Faculty of Arts.

As part of the university's plan to improve the quality of the educational process and enhance institutional and programmatic accreditation opportunities, Prof.Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, inaugurated a number of educational and developmental projects at the Faculty of Arts. This project is part of the Educational Effectiveness Support Project funded by the Ministry of Higher Education.
The inauguration was attended by Prof. Tarek Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof.

Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University, the Faculty's Vice Deans, heads of academic departments, and a number of faculty members. The inauguration took place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Faculty.
Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata emphasized that these projects represent a qualitative leap, contributing to providing an advanced educational environment that achieves the highest academic standards. He praised the efforts of those in charge of implementing the new projects at the Faculty of Arts, wishing everyone continued success.
For his part, Prof. Tarek Abdel Wahab explained that the development plan for the Faculty of Arts included the establishment of two laboratories, representing a qualitative addition to the college's educational infrastructure. The training lab is equipped with 25 standard-spec computers, a modern interactive screen, and an advanced audio system that enables effective interaction between lecturers and trainees, enhancing the quality of training and the educational process. The Simulation and Heritage Lab also includes 3D simulation display technologies, an interactive screen, and a high-resolution audio system, with the aim of supporting curricula related to heritage and cultural identity. His Excellency added that the development work included converting three classrooms into modern, air-conditioned lecture halls equipped with the latest interactive display equipment. The College of Engineering's engineering workshops undertook the fit-out process, relying on the recycling of materials and equipment from the university buildings under development. The development plan also included improving the college's infrastructure, outside the scope of the Educational Effectiveness Support Project. The geomatics lab was upgraded to meet the requirements of the new academic program, qualifying it to host training programs under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's initiative and the TOT program in cooperation with Fayoum University. Control rooms were also modernized, lighting in halls and laboratories was renewed, and comprehensive maintenance work was carried out on the water tanks and generator to ensure a safe learning environment.
