Closing Ceremony of the 13th University Scout Festival

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the closing ceremony of the 13th University Scout Festival, held under the slogan "A New Beginning for Human Development." The festival was held under the supervision of Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, a number of deans and vice deans of faculties, Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University, Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Mrs. Lamiaa Kassab, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, Mr. Wael El-Qady, Director General of University Security, administrators and students. The event was held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, on campus.
Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata explained that the goal of the festival is to equip students with leadership skills and teamwork, helping them diversify their knowledge and expand their horizons. He emphasized that the university provides all forms of support for student activities and for outstanding students in various scientific, cultural, artistic, and athletic fields.
Prof. Sherif El-Attar noted that the festival featured fifteen of the university's faculties, with each faculty participating with a team of 12 male and female students. The festival also featured a variety of activities, including evening gatherings and outdoor cooking sessions. Students also presented a number of initiatives in their respective fields of expertise.
It's worth noting that the festival ran from May 1, 2025, to May 7, 2025, and concluded with a flag campaign display, followed by a parade of the participating faculties.
