Fayoum University Announces the Results of the Visual Identity Design Competition for Its National University

As part of the ongoing preparations for the commencement of academic year at Fayoum National University, Prof. Yasser Hatata, President of Fayoum University and Acting President of the University, welcomed the winners of the Fayoum National University Visual Identity Design Competition, which was officially announced on February 24, 2025.
The university launched this competition out of its belief in the importance of involving youth and the academic community in building the university's corporate identity and promoting a culture of participation and creativity. Voting on the submitted works was open to all university members after the closing date for applications, in support of the principles of transparency and institutional openness.
The judging committee consisted of a select group of university leaders, headed by Prof. Yasser Hatata, and including: Prof. Assem Fouad Al-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Arafa Sabry Gomaa, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ehab Mahmoud Oqba, Head of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering; and Prof. Ahmed Rashad Abdel Aal, Secretary General of the University. The competition results resulted in the following winning projects:
- First place: The project submitted by students Tasneem Ayman Salah and Mariam Hisham Darbala, Faculty of Arts and Design, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Hesham Nagy Abdel Moneim.
- Second place: The project submitted by student Mohamed Kamal Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Faculty of Social Work, Fayoum University.
- Third place: The project submitted by student Ahmed Abdel Qader Abdel Halim, Faculty of Engineering, Fayoum University.
The university president received a delegation from the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, which included Prof. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Hany El-Saeed, Academic Supervisor of the Graphic Design and Advertising Department; Dr. Hesham Nagy; and Dr. Ahmed Attia, in addition to the two first-place winners.
The university also received the third-place winner, Ahmed Abdel Qader Abdel Halim, while the second-place winner, Mohamed Kamal Mohamed Abdel Aziz, apologized for not being able to attend. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Yasser Hatata honored the winners, presented certificates of appreciation and prizes, and presented the Fayoum University shield to Prof. Tarek Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, in recognition of the faculty's active contribution to supporting student creativity and institutional cooperation.
