Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, signed a cooperation agreement between the university and the library. The agreement aims to foster a culture of scientific research and enhance the capabilities of the Egyptian academic community in the field of high-performance computing. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof.
Assem El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Samia Gouda, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Abdel Karim Mohamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ahmed Roby, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Attia, Director of the Center for High Energy Physics at the Faculty of Science at Fayoum University, and Dr. Yasser Mohamed Abdel Qawi, a member of the Center's Board of Directors.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata affirmed that Fayoum University is honored to work with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in the field of information and communications technology. He added that the collaboration with the library's expertise represents an outstanding model of partnership between various academic institutions, as it will contribute to the public, open up a wide range of opportunities for researchers, and serve scientific research, which is one of the most important pillars of the country's development. Prof. Ahmed Zayed also welcomed Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata and the accompanying delegation of university professors, emphasizing his pride in Fayoum University, where he contributed to the establishment of the Faculty of Social Work. He expressed his happiness with this collaboration, as it contributes to strengthening scientific research and presents a new and different model characterized by a spirit of reciprocity in cooperation through shared technological capabilities and research capacities.
