Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Lamia Ahmed Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty organized a symposium entitled "Stay Positive... Go Out and Participate."
The symposium hosted Prof. Ahmed Hosny, Dean of the Faculty of Social Work. The symposium was attended by Mrs. Sabah Ali, Director of the Faculty of Dentistry Administration, and a number of faculty staff. The symposium was held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Faculty.
Prof. Ahmed Hosny indicated that the symposium stems from the university's role in raising national awareness and its belief in its societal and political role. He emphasized that the citizen's voice has a powerful impact, and that positive participation in the electoral process is essential to building a strong nation, especially during this period, which includes numerous regional conflicts. Therefore, we must work to present a positive image of Egypt and its people to the world.
He explained that the parliamentary term of the House of Representatives will end on July 31, 2025, and that the 300-member Senate must be elected on August 4 and 5, automatically transferring legislative authority to it until a new House of Representatives is elected in accordance with the constitution.
He thanked the Egyptian people for their constant support of their country and its principles, praising Egypt's pioneering role at the regional and international levels.
