Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the launch of the "I Am Also Responsible" initiative, on social responsibility and youth leadership. The five-day initiative, hosted by the university in cooperation with the National Training Academy of the Presidency, was attended by Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Engineer Ahmed El-Hanbali, Director of Training Operations at the National Training Academy, and Dr. Aya Abdel Salam and Mr. Mohamed Abu El-Dahab, training coordinators at the academy. Dr. Hatem El-Tatawy, a graduate of the Presidential Program for Executive Leadership, and Dr. Eng. Mohamed Gamal Kafafi, Senior Advisor for Sustainable Development at the United Nations, also attended the first day of the initiative on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata welcomed the academy delegation and the student trainees to Fayoum University, praising their efforts to achieve the desired goals.
He pointed out that the learning process is an ongoing one, directing students to work on gaining experience and benefiting from the National Training Academy's initiative, which addresses the principles of responsibility in its various dimensions.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar also explained that the initiative aims to enhance awareness of the dimensions of responsibility in various fields, develop leadership and positive influence skills, and prepare to face challenges and create change.

Prof. Wael Tobar indicated that the initiative addresses the various dimensions of responsibility, including financial, economic, environmental, climate, scientific and research, technological, digital, political and civic, cultural and heritage, media and communication, as well as community, volunteer life, and development responsibility.
