The Evaluation Process for the Faculties Participating in the Fayoum University Award for Internal Excellence 2025

Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the university, in cooperation with the Egypt Government Excellence Award Administration at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, began the evaluation process of the university’s faculties participating in the Fayoum University Award for Internal Excellence in its first edition 2025. The evaluation process was headed by Prof. Arafa Sabry Gomaa Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, Cultural Relations and Research and Head of the University’s Internal Awards Administration, and attended by Dr. Ziad Salah El-Din Mohamed, Head of the Evaluation Teams accredited by the Egypt Government Excellence Award, Dr. Hossam El-Din Yousry Mohamed, Accredited Evaluator and Project Director of the Egypt Government Excellence Award, Prof. Masoud Ismail Masoud Shaheen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Portal Director and Technology Support Officer of the University’s Internal Awards Team, Prof.Tamer Magdy Issa, Director of the Center for Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning and Evaluation Officer of the Team, Mrs. Hala El-Swaify, General Manager of Public Relations and Media and Operations and Logistics Support Officer of the Team, Mrs. Amira Hassan Gabriel, Communication and Public Relations Officer of the Team, as well as Evaluators from the university's academic and administrative staff, on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Prof. Arafa Sabry emphasized that the implementation of the internal awards system at the university stems from the Egypt Government Excellence Award's commitment to implementing the goals of Egypt Vision 2030, supporting the state's efforts to spread and deepen the culture of excellence and institutional development across various state sectors.
He added that implementing the internal awards system will, in turn, qualify students for nomination and competition for the Egypt Government Excellence Award. He praised the efforts of the Egypt Government Excellence Award administration, which held training workshops over the past period for internal award evaluator teams. These teams will evaluate the 18 faculties participating in the Fayoum University Internal Excellence Award. These faculties will undergo desk evaluation, followed by the preparation of a shortlist, field visits, and personal interviews, leading up to the stage of presenting the results to the jury.
