Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the Board of Directors of the Center for Development Research and Consulting held its 28th session on Monday, August 18, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Prof.
Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and included Prof. Samir Seif Al-Yazl, Former Governor of Beni Suef and full-time professor at the Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Ahmed Hosny, Former Dean of the Faculty of Social Work; Prof. Sameh Ahmed Galal, professor at the Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Nabil Awad Allah, Director of the Center; Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University; Mr. Abdel Nasser Bakry, Director General of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector; and Mrs. Ghada Seddek, Director of the Office of the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The meeting discussed several topics, including briefing the Council on the Center's ongoing projects, the protocol signed between the Center and the New Urban Communities Authority at the Ministry of Housing, and the possibility of concluding other protocols between the Center and the Authority for the restoration and reinforcement of the Authority's facilities. The council also discussed projects to develop university hospitals and the planned oncology center affiliated with Fayoum University Hospitals. The council also emphasized the role of the Development Research and Consulting Center in serving and developing the community and national projects, and the responsibilities of the consultants supervising the center's engineering work.
