Student Activities Celebration for Students for Egypt Family

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, attended the "Student Activities of the Students for Egypt Family" celebration, which was organized by the General Administration of Student Welfare and the Students for Egypt Family, in the presence of Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry Al-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Hosny, Former Dean of the Faculty of Social Work, Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamal, General Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family at the University, Ms. Salwa Ahmed Fouad, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, and a number of faculty members and students, on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the University's Central Library.
Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata congratulated the students on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year and the anniversary of the glorious October victories, in which a great generation wrote the greatest heroic epic, passing the banner to the next generations. He expressed his pride in the "Students for Egypt" family, praising their active participation in representing the university in various events and their commitment to developing their skills and supporting their new colleagues. He congratulated the students on Fayoum University's winning of the silver category in the Best University in Student Activities competition, which was achieved through continuous effort and dedication, and hoped for continued excellence during the current year.
Prof. Assem El-Essawy pointed out that university youth are the backbone of the Egyptian state and the foundation of its soft power, thanks to their energies and creativity, which enhance the process of development and societal progress. He extended his congratulations to the Fayoum University family for their excellence in student activities, and to the "Students for Egypt" family, which has played a tangible role in this excellence.

Sherif El-Attar stated that the university administration is keen to provide all possible support to students to achieve their aspirations, noting the importance of student activities that aim to build the character of university students and foster a sense of loyalty and belonging, in addition to developing leadership and academic skills.
Prof. Ahmed Hosny continued that today's attendance represents the culmination of the generous legacy of the Students for Egypt family, emphasizing the provision of support and advice to the family, wishing them continued success and excellence.
Prof. Wael Tobar saluted the family's students for representing the university's promising and distinguished youth. He added that the family has contributed to bringing about a noticeable positive change in student life, praising the family's students for always living up to their responsibilities and representing a bright image of the university's students. He also saluted the family's past and present students.
Prof. Mohamed Kamal noted that the ceremony is the culmination of a successful and distinguished student career and an inspiring beginning to another year of excellence, borne out of the university's commitment to supporting its students and fulfilling their future aspirations. He emphasized that the Students for Egypt family preserves Egyptian identity and plays an active role in refining both academic and personal development and preparing students for the job market, which benefits our beloved Egypt.
During the ceremony, the university president and the deputies honored the distinguished Students for Egypt family members in student activities, in appreciation of their efforts.
The ceremony also featured a number of artistic and musical performances by the students.
