Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President of Fayoum Unversity for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated the "Art and Nature" student exhibition for third-year students in the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Specific Education. The exhibition is organized under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the faculty's headquarters.

The opening was attended by Prof. Hany Abdel Badie, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ghada Yassin, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Amal Mamdouh Azouz, Lecturer in the Department of Art Education and Exhibition Supervisor, along with Ms. Asmaa Galal, Ms.Samia Ahmed, and Ms. Asmaa Emad, members of the auxiliary staff, and a number of faculty members and students.

Prof. Assem Al-Essawy emphasized his constant keenness to attend the exhibitions of students from the Faculty of Specific Education, which feature distinctive artworks that reflect refined taste and sophisticated artistic creativity. He thanked the faculty members of the Department of Art Education for their efforts in supporting and developing students' creative skills. Prof. Hany Abdel Badie expressed his happiness with the outstanding level of student work, which embodies the integration of theoretical and practical aspects of the department's courses.

For her part, Dr. Amal Mamdouh Azouz explained that the exhibition is part of the requirements of the Environmental Materials course for third-year students. It includes a number of artworks, sculptures, and pendants created by students using natural and consumable materials such as wood, stones, cardboard, threads, leaves, and natural colors.

She added that the goal of the exhibition is to utilize natural and consumable materials to produce artworks that mimic nature, which can later be developed into productive small projects.
