Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, attended the reception ceremony for new students at the Faculty of Al-Alsun. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Naglaa Saad, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Amal Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University; Dr. Enas Mohamed El-Sherif, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty; Prof. Amal Abdel Tawab, Director of the Faculty Administration; and Professor Shadia Anwar Diab, Head of the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Faculty's headquarters.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar expressed his pleasure at participating in the ceremony and meeting with his students, congratulating them on the beginning of the new academic year. He noted that the Faculty comprises five language departments: English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Chinese. He emphasized that students are the foundation and primary pillar of the educational process, and that Fayoum University is proud of them and is committed to supporting them in various academic, artistic, sports, and cultural fields. He noted that the university administration is constantly working to provide a rich educational environment that develops students' skills and hones their abilities to become effective and distinguished members of society. He emphasized that his door is always open to everyone to overcome any obstacles they may face during their academic journey.

For her part, Prof. Naglaa Saad explained that university life is not limited to studying alone, but also includes engaging in various creative, artistic, and cultural activities that contribute to discovering talents and developing skills. She emphasized that the Faculty of Languages seeks to provide a suitable environment for students to become academically outstanding and distinguished ambassadors for the college in the community. Prof. Amal Ibrahim also pointed out that the new students' reception ceremony embodies the spirit of participation and belonging. She noted that the college recently graduated its first batch of students and always strives to achieve progress and advancement by developing students' capabilities and competencies through advanced curricula and diverse activities, making the Faculty graduate a model that combines knowledge, culture, and ethics. She urged students to maintain constant communication with the Youth Welfare Department to learn about available activities and events.

Prof. Wael Tobar urged the new students to be proud of their affiliation with Fayoum University, a distinguished and internationally ranked university. He praised the academic excellence of the Faculty of Languages, despite its recent establishment, and praised its position among the university's faculties. He also urged students to actively participate in student activities and workshops organized by the college.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, students from the college performed artistic and singing performances in several languages. Outstanding students were also honored and awarded certificates of appreciation to encourage their excellence.
