Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, attended the theatrical performance "Why Not?" organized by the Combating Violence Against Women Unit at the university, in cooperation with the Friends of Writer Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Association, under the supervision of Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The performance was attended by Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hany Abdel-Badie, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University, Prof. Nohair El-Shoushany, Director of the Combating Violence Against Women Unit, and a number of faculty members, staff, and students. The performance was held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the university theater.

This theatrical performance is part of the "Why Not?" initiative, which aims to combat various forms of violence against women in Upper Egypt, particularly on public transportation.
