Fayoum University Hosts the Supreme Council for Postgraduate Studies and Research to hold its regular meeting, chaired by Prof. Moustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and attended by Prof. Yasser Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Arafa Sabry, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the esteemed members of the Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Moustafa Refaat thanked the Fayoum University family, headed by Prof. Yasser Hatata, for hosting the meeting of the Supreme Council for Postgraduate Studies and Research. He also congratulated the Council and the great people of Egypt on the occasion of the fifty-second anniversary of the glorious October 6 victories.

The Council also congratulated Prof. Ghada Ali Hassan Ibrahim on her appointment as Vice President of Menoufia University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
|
For his part, Prof. Yasser Hatata welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness to host this distinguished gathering of academic and technical leaders. He extended his thanks to the university vice presidents for postgraduate studies and research and the Supreme Council of Universities for their joint efforts in developing the graduate studies and research system at Egyptian universities.

The Council discussed several topics, including:

• The report submitted by the committee tasked with studying academic integrity and the use of artificial intelligence applications in scientific research at Egyptian universities.
|
• A review of a report on building a dynamic central database (electronic platform) that includes all ongoing and completed scientific research projects, in addition to following up on the "Alliance and Development" initiative at universities.
|
• A review of a report on the first edition of the Fayoum University Internal Excellence Award (2025(.
|
• A review of a report on the launch of the electronic portfolio for the guiding reference framework for higher education in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
|
• A review of the updates made to the National Bank of Laboratories and Scientific Equipment platform at the Supreme Council of Universities, along with a review of the future vision for its development.
|
• Reviewing the latest efforts made by universities to promote sustainability research on the electronic platform dedicated to publishing research data related to the environmental dimension, the green transition, and sustainable development at the level of Egyptian universities, within the framework of implementing the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research.
