Mission:
Objectives :
To fulfill its mission, the Psychology Department has the following objectives:
1- To prepare a qualified psychologist able to work in the different branches of psychology: clinical, educational, criminal, industrial, family, special needs ... etc.)
2- To make the graduate acquire critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills that will be used in various fields of work.
3- To continuously review and update of the program elements and to have the flexibility to change in order to keep pace with the new in specialization.
5- To achieve distinction in the practical and applied aspects of the specialization.
6- To achieve convenience (compatibility) between the department's outputs and the requirements of the labor market, through a scientific and professional partnership contract with governmental and private sectors of society related to the specialization.
7- To organize and support the efforts aimed at increasing the department's effective participation in community service.
The Department of Psychology seeks to prepare a cadre of distinguished psychologists and researchers who are able to provide counseling and therapeutic psychological services (Evaluation - Diagnosis - Counseling - Treatment - Training) efficiently and effectively, by creating new distinct academic programs according to the highest quality criteria, which aim to prepare graduate who is able to compete in the labor market and participate in community service.
4- To support the professional and scientific development system for the graduates of the program through the continuous development of postgraduate studies programs, diplomas and new branches in the specialization.
