Developing the skills and knowledge of teachers enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs in five Faculties of Education, and building the capacities of postgraduate teacher education programs to enhance skills- and knowledge and implement practice-based experimental teaching methods in classrooms

Modernizing educational laboratories in Faculties of Education so that degree programs become a model for the effective use of educational technology.

Strengthening coordination between the Ministries of Education and Technical Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research in planning and developing teacher preparation.

Establishing bachelor’s and postgraduate programs for primary school teachers in Egyptian public universities.

Establishing partnerships between American and Egyptian universities.

Integrating educational technology into all educational programs.

:Sub-Outcomes

7,500 pre-service teachers in Faculties of Education programs across five Egyptian public universities will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to apply experimental teaching strategies and practical classroom methods.

Completion and implementation of a four-year credit-hour curriculum for pre-service primary-stage teachers (generalist and specialized) in five Egyptian public universities.

Completion and implementation of a four-year credit-hour curriculum for pre-service English-language primary-stage teachers in five Egyptian public universities.

Completion of the development of pre-service teachers’ skills in delivering lessons using technology and blended learning approaches based on Ministry of Education frameworks, and preparing the required platforms for that purpose.

Development of five educational laboratories for pre-service teachers.
