:The objectives of the Psychological Counseling Center are as follows
- Providing psychological, social, and counseling consultations to local community institutions in Fayoum Governorate.
- Organizing training programs for psychologists and social specialists working with both regular groups and individuals with special needs.
- Preparing counseling programs for youth based on their needs and motivations to protect them from destructive intellectual trends and behavioral deviations.
- Preparing the necessary scales and tests for psychological and vocational counseling processes.
- Conducting research and field studies in the areas of psychological counseling, including educational, marital, and family counseling.
- Providing psychological counseling and therapeutic services for cases suffering from behavioral disorders that hinder their psychological and vocational adjustment and adaptation.
- Holding local and regional scientific seminars in the fields of psychological disorders and psychological counseling related to such disorders.
- Planning, implementing, and delivering counseling programs for regular individuals and individuals with special needs.
- Organizing training courses in the field of counseling for individuals with special needs, qualifying workers in this field, and enhancing their professional competence.
- Organizing training courses in school psychological counseling to improve the efficiency of psychologists and social specialists working in the Ministry of Education.
