The Crisis and Disaster Management Unit aims to
- Promoting a culture of crisis management and raising students’ awareness of its risks and how to deal with them when they occur.
- Planning preventive measures to protect the Faculty from disasters and crises.
- Developing strategies to address crises when they occur in any of the Faculty’s facilities.
- Reviewing periodic reports on crises and disasters and methods of overcoming them and benefiting from them.
- Anticipating potential crises within the Faculty campus and identifying mechanisms for their prevention, including
- Ensuring safety and security for individuals.
- Protecting Faculty buildings against fires, crises, and disasters.
- Achieving safety and security standards.
- Raising awareness among staff and students and training them on proper behavior.
- Organizing training courses, seminars, and workshops to develop skills and performance in dealing with risks, crises, and disasters.
