The intended aims and outcomes are to:
1- Provide consultancy and environmental services through the university to
help farmers increase their agricultural and economic production, Perform
laboratory and field tests through specialized laboratories to perform the
necessary tests for water, soil and food, analyse the results and provide
recommendations to raise the level of productivity for the governmental and
private bodies to link the university with the rural community to know the real
needs on the ground.
2- Provide technical knowledge in rural development, agriculture and food
experiences of the public and private sectors to advance development by
supporting and guiding applied research in areas relevant to the Office's
activity.
3- Provide training courses, seminars, workshops and exhibitions in the fields
of migration, sustainable agriculture, production and food consumption and their
linkage to food security, demand analysis and market economies.
4- Supporting the small and medium industries by providing specialized advice,
technical and economic feasibility studies, preparation of marketing plans, and
providing all information and analyse them in various economic and social
activities.
5- Support the university departments to have access to the real-world problems
especially related to migration, agriculture and rural development.
6- Make full of use of the university infrastructure and know-how to help the
community achieve the country’s strategy.
