About Board
The curricula and methodology department is considered the largest among the faculty departments as twenty four senior staff members belong to the department in addition to nineteen assistant lecturers and demonstrators attempting to attain their M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in different fields of specialization. The department is responsible for introducing methodology courses of variant subjects, curricula, Educational technology, micro-teaching, history of mathematics and statistics. The department is also involved in higher studies programs introduced to post graduate students in the general diploma, professional diploma (curricula development and educational technology divisions) and special diploma (curricula and methodology section). The department takes the responsibility of planning and managing practical teaching groups. The members of the department, according to their fields of specialization, help in supervising the practical teaching groups being trained in schools, being helped by members of staff belonging to other departments. The members of the staff assist in supervising students registered in the M.Ed. and Ph.D. programs at the department.
