Under the patronage of

And under the supervision of
Professor Dr. Walid El-Hady Sheikh El-Arab,
Head of the Tourist Guidance Department,
The department organized yesterday, Saturday, March 14, 2026, a scientific and field visit for third-level students of the Tourist Guidance Department to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.
This visit comes within the practical activities of the course “Tourist Guidance 4”, closely followed by the course instructors: Professor Dr. Waheed Omran and Dr. Islam Adel, as part of the faculty’s commitment to integrating academic study with field training to ensure the graduation of qualified cadres for the labor market.
During the tour inside the museum halls,
- Mr. Ayman Ismail,
Assistant Lecturer in the department,
undertook the tasks of explanation, clarification, and practical training of the students. The training included live applications on presentation and delivery skills, guiding students to the best methods of narrating historical and archaeological information in a scientific and engaging manner, directly contributing to refining their skills and preparing them to efficiently raise archaeological awareness.
The importance of such scientific visits lies in being the cornerstone for shaping the personality of a successful tourist guide. They do not only reinforce the theoretical knowledge studied in classrooms, but also provide a real simulation environment that instills self-confidence and breaks the barrier of apprehension in direct interaction with tangible cultural heritage and tourist groups.
