Seminar Highlights Crisis Management

  This Wednesday, the Center for Crisis and Disaster Management held a seminar titled: "Crises Likely to Happen during Exams".    The event was attended by Prof. Farid Awad Hedar, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Emad Dawidar, Director of the Center for Crisis and Disaster Management, vice deans, and some employees.   In his opening remarks, Prof. Farid Hedar welcome the audience to Fayoum University, pointing out that life is full of problems and crises and this pushed the man to study crisis management and tries his hardest to find solutions.   He also added: "Most institutions have begun to adopt this branch of knowledge to deal with their challenges; some countries earmark about 3% of its budget for training whereas some big companies earmark 2% of staff salaries for developing their crisis management skills."   In the same context, Prof. Emad Dawidar gave a presentation about the types of crises that faculty members might face during exam time.
