Training Plan 2025/2026 – Quality Assurance & Strategic Planning

Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and chaired by Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Center, the Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Center organized the first training event of the 2025/2026 academic year. The event began with a course on "Program and Course Specifications Based on the National Authority's 2025 Models."

The event was attended and facilitated by Prof. Mahmoud Howeidy, Advisor to the University President for Quality Affairs; Prof. Tamer Magdy Essa, Director of the Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Center; and Prof. Gamal Farag, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Student Affairs and Former Director of the Center. The event took place on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Prof. Assem El-Essawy emphasized the importance of training courses in enhancing the skills of faculty members and teaching assistants at the university, praising the commitment to advancing quality assurance efforts at Fayoum University.

Prof. Mahmoud Hweidy also commended the efforts of Fayoum University's administration in preparing the accreditation file, along with the ongoing work of the university's Quality Assurance Center and its commitment to maintaining the dynamism of the educational process.

Prof. Tamer Magdy Essa explained the objectives of the training program, which include applying the new National Authority for Standardization and Metrology (NASM) models in program and course descriptions and reports, creating program and course matrices and linking them, completing the new models professionally (whether the college uses NARS or ARS), developing performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the educational program, and linking feedback assessments to program reports and course reports.
