Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University,
Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service
and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Postgraduate Studies and
Research Sector, received the committee formed by the Pharmaceutical Studies
Sector of the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Prof. Moustafa Fouad,
Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Minia University. Also present were Prof.
Mohamed Hamzawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and committee members
Prof. Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni Suef
University, and Prof. Osama Ramadan, Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy,
Minia University. The purpose of the visit was to inspect the material and
human resources available for activating several Master's and Diploma programs
in various scientific disciplines. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Acting Vice Dean for
Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ahmed Adel, Acting Vice Dean for
Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Khaled El-Ghandakly,
Professor Emeritus at the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Ismail, Director of the
Central Research Laboratory, also attended the meeting. The committee inspected
several specialized research laboratories, the experimental pharmaceutical
manufacturing plant, and lecture halls. The study and the library.
