Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the
Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs held its
session No. (222) headed by Prof. Assem Fouad Al-Essawy, Vice President of the
University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in the
presence of the esteemed members of the Council, today, Monday, July 20, 2026,
at the university’s central library.
During
the meeting, congratulations were extended to Professor. Samir Saif Al-Yazal, Former
Governor of Beni Suef, and Prof. Mona Abdel Tawab Abdel Latif, Member of the
Senate, on the occasion of their selection as members of the Board of Trustees
of Fayoum National University.
The
Council was informed of the need to provide the Office of the Professor, Vice
President of the University for Community Service and Environmental
Development, with the proposed plan for the activity of the colleges, centers
and units affiliated with the sector for the academic year 2026/2027, after its
approval by the College Council, so that it can be presented to the Council for
Community Service and Environmental Development in its next session for
approval, as well as considering the formation of a committee to study and
review the University’s Crisis and Disaster Management Guide for the year 2026.
The
Council was also informed of the activities of the General Administration for
Community Service, Environmental Development and Environmental Projects, the
activities of colleges, centers and units, and those wishing to cooperate with
the community service sector. A number of other topics on the agenda were also
discussed.
