Chaired by Professor Dr. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Institute, the Institute Council held its meeting No. (155) on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in the presence of Dr. Nasser Abdel-Sattar Abdel-Hadi, Vice Dean of the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ahmed Fouad El-Maghazi, Vice Dean of the Institute for Community Service and Environmental Development, the heads of departments, and the esteemed members of the Council. Professor Dr. Assem Fouad El-Essawy began his speech by welcoming the attendees, then approving the minutes of the Council meeting No. (154) dated August 12, 2025, and approving the minutes of the subcommittees. He then moved on to the agenda and discussed a number of organizational matters related to the Institute, the most important of which were the formation of the councils of the Department of Geographical Studies and the Department of Administrative Studies, the formation of the subcommittees emanating from the Institute Council, and the topics of the Postgraduate Studies Committee, which included preparing and organizing the work of postgraduate studies at the Institute, the most important of which was approving the date for holding the summer semester exams 2024/2025 AD and distributing the courses for the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026 AD, as well as considering the secondments of faculty members, as well as approving the topics of the Cultural Relations Committee and other topics related to the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee and the Equipment and Laboratories Committee.
