Doctoral Thesis Defense Entitled "The Tomb of Djed-Khonsu, Padiese and Padkherib at the Necropolis of Sheikh Soby" – Department of Tourism Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Fayoum University

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the doctoral thesis presented by researcher Fatma Sayed Abdel Rasoul Abdel Wahab, from the Department of Tourism Guidance, was successfully defended on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The thesis was entitled:

"The Tomb of Djed-Khonsu, Padiese and Padkherib at the Necropolis of Sheikh Soby"

The defense session was honored by the attendance of Senator Essam Helal Afifi, Member of the Senate and Assistant Secretary-General of the Mostaqbal Watan Party, and Dr. Mahmoud Afifi, former Head of the Egyptian Antiquities Sector, both of whom commended the distinguished academic standard of the thesis.

The researcher delivered an outstanding scientific presentation, followed by rich scholarly discussions among the committee members, reflecting the high academic caliber of both the Department and the Faculty. At the conclusion of the defense, the committee recommended the acceptance of the thesis, wishing the researcher continued success in her academic career.
