Under the patronage of Prof. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Farouk Attallah, Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, students of the Department of Tourism Studies at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University completed their summer training program at Egyptian Travel Makers company in Cairo.

The training lasted one month at the company's headquarters, led by Dr. Hossam Hazza, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

During the training period, students obtained certificates of training in the following areas:

• Hotel reservations
• Flight booking on the NDC-X system
• Familiarization with the principles of flight booking (Amadeus)
• How to work with B2B systems and email correspondence
• Costing of tourism programs and tourist transportation
• Familiarization with the regulations governing religious tourism (Hajj)

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels extends its sincere thanks and gratitude to the management of Egyptian Travel Makers for its commitment to the quality and efficiency of the summer training program, and for maximizing the benefit to students in a manner that contributes to refining their skills and instilling professional ethics in the tourism field.

This comes within the framework of the Faculty's commitment to strengthening cooperation with institutions in the tourism sector and supporting its students' practical experience in preparation for the labor market.
