As part of the Faculty’s commitment to strengthening national awareness and fostering a spirit of loyalty and belonging among its youth, a delegation from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Fayoum University, took part in the educational and informative seminar held to mark the anniversary of the glorious October War victories. The delegation included faculty members, students, and a group of representatives of the “For Egypt” (Min Agl Masr) student family, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marwa El-Omda, Associate Professor in the Tourism Studies Department and Youth Care Department at the Faculty.

The participation came under the kind directives and patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif El-Attar, President of Fayoum University; Prof. Dr. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Dr. Taher Abdel-Hamid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The seminar was delivered by Major General Samir Farag, Head of the Moral Affairs Department and former Governor of Luxor. It reviewed the glories and heroic deeds of our brave Armed Forces, the lessons learned from the great October victory, and the role of young people in safeguarding the nation’s gains and continuing the constructive march of development.
