رئيس جامعة الفيوم يفتتح معرض " ادرس في جامعة الفيوم"

Under the patronage of Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University and Supervisor of Fayoum National University, inaugurated the "Study at Fayoum University" exhibition, organized by the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs, the exhibition runs from August 12^th to 27^th , 2026. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University, and several deans and vice deans of faculties. The event took place on Wednesday, August 13th, 2026, at the Central Library.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar stated that the exhibition aims to provide high school students and their families with the opportunity to learn about the latest university programs and new specializations offered by the faculties of Fayoum University and Fayoum National University.

He emphasized that Fayoum University offers a range of distinguished academic programs across various scientific disciplines, aligned with the state's strategic plan and the needs of both the local and international job markets.

He added that the university is keen to showcase its pioneering academic experience, highlighting its ongoing development in the education system and its expansion of distinguished and interdisciplinary programs that meet the needs of the labor market and development requirements. The university also aims to showcase its research and applied capabilities, which enhance its standing among Egyptian universities.

Among the most prominent programs offered by Fayoum University are the following:

• Faculty of Engineering: Includes the Mechatronics Engineering program, the Construction Engineering and Project Management program, the Sustainable Architecture Technology program, and the Housing and Urban Development program.

• Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence: Includes the Bioinformatics Computing program and the Artificial Intelligence program.

• Faculty of Pharmacy: Offers the Clinical Pharmacy program.

• Faculty of Science: Offers the Petroleum and Water Geology program.

• Faculty of Agriculture: Offers the Biotechnology program (taught in English(

• Faculty of Arts: Offers the Geography and Geomatics program.

• Faculty of Sports Sciences: Includes the Physical Education Teacher Preparation program (taught in English), and the Physical Education Teacher Preparation program for students with special needs. • Faculty of Tourism and Hotels*: Includes the Environmental Tourism Guidance Program and the Tourism and Hotels Program.

• Faculty of Early Childhood Education*: Includes the Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program (taught in English) and the Early Childhood Educational Media Program.

In addition, there is a Sports Tourism Management Program, offered jointly by the Faculties of Tourism and Hotels and Sports Sciences.
