Under
the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Sheikh of
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum
University, Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student
Affairs, witnessed the opening of the training program "Principles of
Banking Operations." The program is organized by the Zakat and Charity
House in cooperation with Fayoum University, the Egyptian Banks Company, and
the Banking Institute. The event took place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at
the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence.
The
opening was attended by representatives of the Zakat and Charity House,
including: Mr. Ahmed Saeed Badir, Resource Development Officer; Ms. Hafsa
Obeid, Director of the Training Department; Ms. Nayra Mahmoud Fahmy, Training
Coordinator; and Ms. Salwa Fouad, Director General of the Student Welfare
Department at the university, along with a number of faculty members, staff,
and students.
Prof.
Sherif El-Attar explained that the training program falls within the Training
for Employment 2025 initiative, which aims to prepare youth for the job market.
He noted that 30 trainees were carefully selected from a large number of
applicants. He added that the program represents an important opportunity for
recent graduates of software engineering, computer science, and artificial
intelligence, as it includes 288 training hours over four weeks, either at the
university or via distance learning.
For his
part, Prof. Ahmed Saeed explained that the program covers multiple fields,
including data science, artificial intelligence, and information security, and
offers promising employment opportunities in the banking sector. He noted that
trainees will receive a certificate accredited by the Banking Institute at the
end of the program, free of charge.
