Organization of a Scientific Field Trip to Port Said Governorate in Support of the Educational Process

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Farouk Abdel Nabi, Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, and as part of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University's commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, a scientific field trip was organized to Port Said Governorate on Friday, April 17, 2026, serving a number of academic courses.

The field trip aimed to develop students' practical skills, deepen their understanding of tourism and environmental components, and bridge academic study with real-world experience, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals for the tourism labor market.
