Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mirvat Abdel Hadi, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University organized a celebration on the occasion of Orphan's Day, in the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Faculty and Zahraa El-Ihsan Association, reflecting the Faculty's social role and its commitment to supporting those most in need of care.
The event's activities included an introductory lecture on the tourist landmarks of Fayoum Governorate, as well as a visit to the Faculty's Educational Museum, contributing to the development of cultural and tourism awareness among the children. The program also featured a short awareness video on the importance of rationalizing energy and water consumption, in support of fostering positive behaviors and preserving resources.
The celebration concluded with a lunch for the children, followed by a series of recreational activities and the distribution of gifts at Qarun Sports Club.
These events reflect the Faculty's steadfast commitment to its social role and its active participation in serving the community and supporting its members.
