The Council of the Research and Strategic Studies Institute for Nile Basin Countries convened today, Saturday 9/5/2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Sattar Abdelhady, Dean of the Institute, and with the membership of Dr. Eman El-Hamamsy, Vice Dean for Community Service & Environmental Development Affairs, and the esteemed Council members.His Excellency began his address by welcoming the attendees, then moved to the agenda. The Council discussed several organizational matters of the Institute and the topics of the Graduate Studies Committee, which included the preparation and organization of graduate studies at the Institute. Key items included:  Approval of the annual reports for students registered for Master’s and PhD degrees in the Department of Geographic Studies.  Formation of the committees of examiners and graders for graduate courses for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.The Council also approved the topics of cultural relations and other matters related to the Community Service & Environmental Development Committee and the Equipment & Laboratories Committee.
