The Education and Student Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University held its meeting, chaired by Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed Abdel-Hamid, Acting Dean of the Faculty – Fayoum University, and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Chair of the Committee, within the framework of continuous follow-up of the educational process and preparation for the summer semester.
The meeting addressed the approval of the cumulative GPA for undergraduate students, in accordance with the governing regulations, as a preliminary step toward completing the academic procedures pertaining to students.
The Committee also discussed the opening of summer semester courses, enabling students to benefit from summer study and fulfill graduation requirements, while observing the rules and regulations governing academic study.
During the meeting, Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed emphasized the importance of adhering to precision in all academic procedures, and of working to facilitate the educational services provided to students, in a manner that ensures the quality of the educational process and keeps pace with the university's plan for developing academic performance.
