Within the framework of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and the global hotel sector, a delegation from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Fayoum University participated in a workshop organized by the InterContinental Hotels Group in cooperation with the IHG Training Academy, with the participation of a number of tourism and hotel faculties and institutes, held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the InterContinental City Stars Hotel.

The Faculty's delegation included:

• Prof. Nancy Fawzy Gamal El-Din, Dean of the Faculty.
• Prof. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.
• Prof. Mostafa Mahmoud, Professor at the Department of Tourism Studies.
• Prof. Mohamed Omar, Training Coordinator with the IHG Group.
• Dr. Ahmed Ghaith, Director of the Graduate Follow-up Unit.

This participation comes as a continuation of the Faculty's efforts to build effective partnerships with major global hotel establishments, thereby opening broader prospects for its students and graduates in training and employment in line with the latest professional standards in the hospitality industry.
