Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. *Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of Fayoum University, and Prof. Dr. **Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. **Mohamed Hamzawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and implemented by Assist. Prof. Dr. **Marwa Kamal Talba, Director of the Training Unit, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Fayoum University organized field training for students enrolled in the **Pharm D* and *Pharm D Clinical Pharmacy* programs at *Baheya Hospital*, a specialized hospital for cancer treatment.
The training was conducted during *July and August 2026*, with each group undertaking one week of practical training. The program provided students with an opportunity to apply the scientific knowledge and concepts they had acquired through their academic studies and to transform theoretical knowledge into practical experiences and real-world practices within a specialized clinical environment.
This training represents an important step in preparing future pharmacists to perform their professional roles more effectively by developing their skills in *medication assessment, clinical reasoning, patient case management, and interdisciplinary teamwork*. It also contributes to enhancing students’ readiness to meet the requirements of their future professional practice.
At the conclusion of the training, the participating students were honored in recognition of their successful completion of the training program. The ceremony was held in cooperation with *Baheya Hospital* and *MEDOR*, the organization that sponsored the training, in appreciation of the students’ efforts and in support of the continued partnership in the fields of training and professional development.
