Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samar Nabil, Associate Professor in the Hotel Studies Department and Coordinator of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit at the Faculty, together with a distinguished delegation of students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Fayoum University, took part in the awareness seminar “Through Awareness, We Protect Her”. The event was held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the University’s Central Library Hall.

The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Mohamed Sabry El-Attar, Acting President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nancy Mohamed Fawzy Gamal El-Din, Dean of the Faculty.

It was organized by the University’s Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, headed by Prof. Dr. Nohair El-Shoshani, Director of the Unit, in cooperation with the National Council for Women, and hosted the writer and media figure Ms. Nashwa El-Hofy.

This participation reflects the Faculty’s commitment to involving its students in the national and awareness-raising events organized by the University, contributing to building students’ awareness, strengthening their sense of belonging, and developing well-rounded personalities capable of facing challenges.
