Meeting of the Council of the Research and Strategic Studies Institute for Nile Basin Countries - Fayoum University

No. (168) dated 19/10/2026Today, Monday, 19/10/2026, the Institute Council held its meeting No. (168), chaired by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Sattar Abdel Hady, Dean of the Institute, and with the membership of Dr. Eman El-Hamamsy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the honorable members of the Council.His Excellency opened the session by welcoming the attendees, then:Ratified the minutes of the Institute Council meeting No. (167) dated 14/9/2026Endorsed the minutes of the committees of: Graduate Studies and Research, Cultural Relations, Libraries, Community Service and Environmental Development, and Equipment and LaboratoriesThe Council discussed a number of special organizational matters, most importantly:Approval of the announcement of the summer semester results at the Institute for the academic year 2025/2026Matters of the Graduate Studies Committee, including the preparation and organization of graduate studies at the Institute, most notably:Approval of the enrollment of students for Master's and PhD degrees in the Department of Geographical StudiesApproval of registration for the Master's degree in the Department of Economic Studies and Agricultural DevelopmentApproval of matters related to Cultural RelationsOther matters related to the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, most importantly the approval to implement a workshop as part of the University's Environmental Week activities
