Under
the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the
Council of the Institute of Research and Strategic Studies for Nile Basin
Countries at Fayoum University honored Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice
President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development
and former supervisor of the Institute. The ceremony was held on Monday,
January 12, 2026, at the Institute's headquarters, in the presence of Prof. Nasser
Abdel-Sattar Abdel-Hady, Dean of the Institute of Research and Strategic
Studies for Nile Basin Countries, and the esteemed members of the Council.
The
Council members expressed their gratitude to Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy for
his dedicated efforts and contributions during his tenure as supervisor of the
Institute, which had a significant impact on improving performance and
strengthening academic and institutional work. They wished him continued
success.
For his
part, Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy thanked the Institute's administration and
wished the Institute continued success.
