Under
the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof.
Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental
Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Quality Assurance and
Strategic Planning Center, held a meeting with the directors of the center's
units across the university's faculties.
The
meeting, which took place on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the university's central
library, was also attended by Prof. Tamer Magdy Eissa, Director of the Center.
Prof. Assem
El-Essawy emphasized the importance of the National Qualifications Framework
and the role of the Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Center in
registering the university's faculties' data within the framework of the
state's plan to improve the quality of education.
For his
part, Prof. Tamer Magdy explained that the meeting included a presentation on
the National Qualifications Framework, its objectives, and the mechanisms for
colleges to register within its framework, all within the context of the
center's work plan. The accreditation standards and requirements for the
2026-2027 academic year were also reviewed.
At the
conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Assem El-Essawy listened to the inquiries of
the unit directors and the challenges and difficulties they face. These were
discussed, addressed, and solutions were developed to support the university's
efforts to enhance its quality assurance system.
